New Outdoor Project at Petrie

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

We are getting stuck into a new project at Petrie this week. The project involves a large amount of outdoor landscaping, including laying down a concrete slab to reduce water flow and re-paving the area with new pavers and some rocks.

Although a relatively small and simple project compared to others, look at the difference.

Building Safety in House Construction – Safe Work Australia

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

The building and construction industry is one that a) is risky and b) at times dangerous. However, at ESP Developments, we place a high priority on safety for our staff and clients, with very attempt made to ensure this.

Safe Work Australia has some interesting information that sheds more light on the risks involved with housing construction. In 2014, they WorkCover NSW also released the  House Construction Industry Plan 2014 that aims to reduce various incidents and accidents on building sites.

“The plan aims to:

  • reduce deaths, injuries  and illnesses
  • reduce exposure to hazards  which cause injury  and disease
  • eliminate/minimise high risk hazards  by implementing higher level controls, and
  • ensure that  injured workers are protected and have sustained recovery and return to work arrangements”

When thinking about renovating or building, it is always important to consider safety for all involved. If you’d like to find out more, you can follow the links below:

Progress Report: Coorparoo Project

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

We have been continuing our major renovation project at Coorparoo over the last few weeks, with a lot of progress made on the roofing and outdoor entertainment area.

On the roof, brackets have been welded on to secure brackets for a shade sail thatis going to be attached. Brackets have also been constructed and welded into the ground beside the pool area. Shade sails are a great way to provide a bit of sun and weather protection over outdoor pool and entertainment areas. Looking forward to seeing the shading placed on. Stay tuned to find out more.
