Brisbane Renovations Booming

“Brisbane homeowners are pouring millions of dollars into renovating their properties, taking advantage of historic low interest rates and rising property values.

The latest building approval data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed Brisbane spent $206.6 million on home renovations during the June quarter alone, a 16.3 per cent increase on the previous quarter.”

New Project in Coorparoo

This week marks the beginning of a new project in Brisbane’s south side suburb of Coorparoo. Phase 1 of the project included the removal of old tiles and underlying concrete in the backyard entertaining area, following by laying down a new slab of concrete for later additions to the areas.

Take a look at the area pre-concrete removal, and the preparations taken prior to laying down a new slab of concrete. Some of these preparations include termite treatment, leveling the ground and strengthening the slab with steel bars.

New Project at Taringa
