Family lifestyle was the impetus to renovate this small colonial. House raising (with a build-in underneath) plus an update to the top floor created the desired space for the owners. All works were carried out with a minimum of fuss to this busy family.
Bowen Hills Renovation
Camp Hill Renovation
Our clients wanted to update a 70’s style house, which included: parents retreat, ensuite, walk in robe, butler’s pantry and large deck. Overall the living space was increased to accommodate a growing family as well as modernising the home to create a Hampton’s look.
Update and renovate was the main criteria for a 20+ year old house that the owners felt was looking a little tired. Hence a major over haul was needed to fulfil our clients dream. New kitchen, butler’s pantry, family room, bathrooms, ensuite and outdoor entertaining area fulfilled the brief.
A growing family dictated the necessity to make better use of the space that existed. The major renovation involved a new kitchen, bathrooms, ensuite, veranda, living room, laundry and outdoor pool area. The owners were quite concerned that the period features of their home were to be enhanced via the renovation and they have.
The owners enjoy entertaining and wanted to create more entertaining space that flowed organically from the interior to exterior of the house. In the process, we transformed the lower level of the house including new kitchen, butler’s pantry, new office, reading nook, toilet, laundry, new dining area, living room and outdoor space to meet these demands.
Overall, we created a warm, modern look and improved the use of space that the owners sought using clean modern lines, open plan living and entertaining areas. And a home that exactly meets the client’s needs & lifestyle while simultaneously working within budget.
40-year-old house needed an update. The owners were very keen for the changes (bathrooms, bedrooms, entrance, living room) with the major focus being the entertaining area. A new kitchen, indoor/outdoor area took full advantage of the pool & outdoor area of the house. The owners were very happy that all work was performed to the highest quality and indeed won an award from the Queensland Master Builders Association.
Raby Bay Renovation
The Providore Renovation – Noosa
The overall aim of the project was the redefinition of an existing space, used as an Art Gallery, in the Netanya Resort, to a new delicatessen, café.
We used the available space but required considerable redesign of existing non-structural fixtures and incorporated many design features synonymous with the aesthetic and image of the Netanya Resort, a 5-star resort.
Fittings were all custom built, which required considerable consultation & thought into the design to create the look the client wanted. Extremely high level of quality & workmanship was demanded for fixture & fittings throughout the project.
Even-though this is not our main type of work the project allowed us to showcase our versatility whilst maintaining our commitment to quality. This project won us a Queensland Master Builders Award in 2017.
Our client was looking, to create a larger modern home that would stay true to its colonial history. Much planning & detail went into this home to satisfy the stringent Character Protected Zone that the house abides in. The old colonial was raised & built-in underneath. Total renovation to the top floor included bedrooms, bathroom, new kitchen and a spacious deck.
A tired old colonial(1930’s) needed a lot of love & care to bring it into the 21st century. The owner wanted a modern useable house whilst maintaining its character & charm. The house was lifted, to gain more useable space and every room has been renovated from the kitchen to bedrooms through to bathrooms.
